mission
A powerful declaration was proclaimed from a humble hill in Israel that would inspire a handful of men to in turn burst forth into this world with a life-changing Gospel message. That missional mandate would come from none other than Christ Jesus himself all because He loved the humanity that was in this world.
Thus, generations later our number one mission is to fulfill the commission that Christ Jesus entrusted in our care when He organized the Church while He was here.
(Mark 3:13,14; Luke 6:12-16; Mark 16: 15-16 ).
That noble commission was to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
VISION
In fulfilling that commission we purpose to spread the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ throughout our community, state, nation and ultimately the world by every means made available to us. That Good News is that Christ came to restore the brokenhearted, to deliver those held captive by the power of sin, and to declare Christ's power over all manner of sickness.
In addition to this, it is our aim to equip the Saints how to live a life of true spiritual victory through sound Bible teaching and preaching.
The vision of The Church of God is one which is fueled by anticipating the realization of a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the Gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
